2009 is just around the corner! Mark your calendar for our Winter Scrapbook Weekend Retreat! All that time you won't have at Christmas to work on your scrapbooks -- this will be the chance to catch up! Work at your own pace and keep your supplies out all weekend in our secure room. Meals and hotel room are included in your weekend fee. So for you there is no cooking, no housework, and no distractions! (except maybe that beautiful ocean view!)

Your fabulous weekend includes:

- 2 nights in an oceanfront room with balcony

- Spacious table to work all weekend - no need to pack up your supplies each night
- Meals: Dinner on Fri, Breakfast & Lunch on Sat & Sun

- Various scrapbooking vendors with ample supplies on hand
- No sale pitches to interrupt your weekend!
- Hours of uninterrupted scrapbooking time (noon Friday until 3:00pm on Sunday)[
- NEW FOR THIS RETREAT: SCRAP SALE!- just like a yard sale but with all scrapbook items. Bring your supplies and equipment you don't need anymore and we'll sell them for you in the Scrap Sale room -- making money for you! Then take some time to shop the great deals!

Weekend costs:
$210 per person - single occupancy
$160 per person - double occupancy
$138 per person - triple occupancy
$128 per person - quad occupancy

A deposit of $25 is required to hold your spot, and is fully-refundable until January 1, 2009. Due to contractual obligations with the hotel, all registrations must be paid in full by January 15, 2009. After that date, refund penalties apply (based on hotel policy -- but certainly we will lobby on your behalf for emergencies).

$200 per person - single occupancy
$150 per person - double occupancy
$128 per person - triple occupancy
$118 per person - quad occupancy

Commuters (day-only scrapbookers) will only be accommodated after September 1, if space is available.

We had a fabulous time at the Feb 29-Mar 2 Retreat, so I hope you'll all be able to attend the Fall Retreat and bring some friends with you! This venue is smaller than the Sandcastle Hotel, but the scrapbook room is still right on the ocean. We're also going to streamline our vendors, so we're sure to have the supplies you need. And the weather in October ought to be gorgeous! At $150 for the weekend, this is an awesome deal. Other similar retreats cost $200 or more!

What to Expect: A great time with women like you! Some people will have ample experience with lifebooks and scrapbooks, others will never have touched one before. Either way you will have a fabulous time relaxing and moving forward in preserving precious memories. It is a casual weekend. Come and go as you like -- take a walk on the beach when you need some inspiration, or work from sun-up to sun-down. And in the evening get comfty in your PJs, crop til you drop, then walk a few feet back to your hotel room. The next morning there's no beds to make, no meals to fix, just more opportunity to scrap!

Crop Room: The scrapbook room is open from noon on Friday, Feb 29 until 4:00pm on Sunday, March 2. It is an ocean front room, with gorgeous views to get you inspired! The room is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. The room will stay open Friday and Saturday nights until the last scrapper surrenders then will room will be locked overnight -- so there is no need to pack up your materials until Sunday! The crop room will reopen at 7:00am each morning.

Vendors: We will have wonderful vendors at our scrapbooking weekend! Scheduled to attend are representatives from: Love Scrapping, Creative Memories, Close to My Heart, Top Line Creations (TLC), and The Angel Company. Food: There is a pizza dinner on Friday night. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings is served in the hotel lobby between 7:00-10:00am. Light lunches for Saturday and Sunday will also be provided. Dinner on Saturday night is on your own. Sweet and salty snacks will be available throughout the weekend as well as sodas and water.

Prizes & Goodies: Your registration automatically enters you into our prize drawings. We will also have special prizes for special categories (ie, "most pages completed," "newest scrapbooker,"
"least pages completed")
